Hi guys,

I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get an ATAR above 95?

English Adv - rank(8/113) - mark(84/100)
Math 2u - rank(22/74) - mark(78/100)
Math 3u - rank(22/36) - mark(34/50)
Phys - rank(22/55 - mark(70/100)
Chem - rank(14/42) - mark(68/100)
Bio - rank(28/50) - mark(64/100)
Business Studies (Accelerated) - My hsc mark is (85)

I go to a school which was ranked 123 in NSW in 2020

I don't know man that seem very high, after computing your ranks and school rank. Are your school assessments known to be hard?

Yea, they are, we sources our papers from catholic schools

Oh thats good then. Catholic papers are good. Maybe if your cohort is strong and your school gets a lot of band 6s maybe 90-95.

Mate honestly then your school's prediction seems accurate. 92 is highly likely. Just grind for externals and maybe you could get close to a 95 or even 95.

there are people who get an atar of 70s-80s with asian 5 but usually its bc they're incompetent and they don't wanna put in hard work

scaling helps but it isnt a magic key to getting a high atar

Nothing much you can do about ranks. Just the HSC is left my g. Hehehe.
