HELLO the question is "to what extent does the exposure to multiple risk factors create health inequities?" (12 marks)

I'm not too sure how to set out my response!? normally I do one paragraph per syllabus dot point but this is so interconnected with each other idk how to do it... and then the government poliices and social attributes link together for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations but not to the rest as much soo idk...

ooo i saw that question a while back and hated it. but isn't it just asking about how the determinants create poor health? (i may be wrong but that's what i would talk about)

i guess it would just be 3 subheadings of each of the determinants and then talk about a couple of factors under each that lead to poor health?

@spicypotatos also, i had a similar question that i asked on a forum, but has your teacher said anything about this:

If the question asks 'explain how determinants of health can lead to health inequities...' or something like that, how many determinants would i need to talk about. my teacher said just do one from each of sociocultural, socioeconomic and environmental. however, the marking criteria usually says that you need 'a range of factors' to get a top band and the suggested answer talks briefly about almost all of them, instead of going into depth about just a few like my teacher told us. what has everyone else been told?

ooo thank you!! this is for equity and health option tho so its not rlly about the determinants but the like daily lviing conditions, quality of early years that kind of stuff...so its a bit harder to split because they all affect each other

you talk about how ALL the risk factors can combine together and lead to poor health for a vulnerable group. u have to talk about all of the factors btw as it is a 12 marker. its basically like the determinants of health but u answer the question in relation to the 6 factors which create health inequities.
