Yeah, I know, we got them in our reports a few weeks ago, I thought everyone knew their rank going in?

Yeh its just to check if your school hasn't accidently (or on purpose) altered your rank to make other peoples marks more favourable for higher atars. You can then appeal to the school and nesa if need be.

Most likely you were tied with someone else and so the rank seemed worse than it actually was OR the school changed it accidently (or on purpose)

why did two of my rank 3s get bumped to a rank 2? did nesa do something wrong?

Idk honestly. we can't be sure. maybe your school altered it slightly or something to make it more favourable for you. But I think just accept it lol and keep it to yourself.

ranks might be different cause of weighting, esp for working scientifically vs knowledge and understanding weighting which school reports dont account for

I’m pretty happy, I’m top 2 in all of my subjects, and first in all of those except two!

have you guys thrown out subject books/paper stuff from yr7-10 cause i’m doing that right now and i feel like i’m doing something wrong wtf is wrong with me we won’t ever need that shi

I threw all my stuff out at the end of each year lol. And donated the textbooks to the school’s library. Not a problem at all. I only have yr 11 and 12 stuff of which I’ll keep whatever’s important and throw out the rest.
