That's a good mark, you did do well! The most important thing is that u somewhat understand or have ideas about where you lost the marks so you can practice it. Also what are each of those rows regarding?
raw mark = actual mark in hsc; aligned mark = modified raw mark (the external mark u see in ur hsc results)

but should i also use pearson or jacaranda to study?

Personally I think pearson is better as it covers everything like in focus sometimes misses out on things (idk about physics but for chem I noticed it). My teacher uses learnable to teach for physics so we don't even use a textbook but I think pearson has better questions cuz I used it in yr 11

in my experience in focus for physics should cover everything you need to know (and also has some out of syllabus content..) except for maybe some stuff for the standard model topic

also i'd just recommend doing past hsc questions or similar questions rather than any textbook questions in general (textbook questions are still useful but generally aren't really in the style of the hsc)

(oh wait this doesn't really work as well for prelim oops)

Yeah, but it means I hardly improved compared to trials (got 70/100 for trial exams). I also did better when I was practising trial exams/ HSC exams (got a mode mark of 80/79/81, with outliers of 97 and 55). Maybe I was marking to leniently though.

I guess one piece of advice is to go ahead of the class as much as possible in Physics, especially if your school is slow/not high ranked.

The exam was also quite easy for me (for most questions), so I wonder how I lost so many marks.
I think trials tend to have the same marking harshness throughout the tests whereas for the HSC, some questions are marked hella harshly whereas some are marked HELLA leniently (e.g. the precipitation qn in chem 2025)

I got an HSC mark of 96/100 for physics and a 99.75 ATAR. DM me if you need help with physics preparation and state-ranking notes
omg did you really? why ru so smart pinga?!?!?!?!!

I've heard from a phys state ranker and another guy who's cracked at physics that all the HSC Physics textbooks are straight buns

I think u can find some year 11 stuff on thsc, acehsc and studocu. Idk about physics but some year 11 stuff like in math are tested in the hsc so u can still find questions from there
