Hey guys,
I've noticed that section 3 in medentry is a lot harder than F2F, and that in medenrty they seem to focus ALOT more on pick the middle questions which usually involve really weird patterns, unlike F2F which generally evens it out a bit in terms of types of questions but the rules...
I just wanted to ask which one which prep courses (out of F2F and medentry) resemble the actual umat more in terms of sections. Medentry section 3 is a lot harder than F2F and has a lot more pick the middle questions, is the actual umat similar to that?
Also i heard that if you go really well...
Ahk thanks guys, also is there any probability whatsoever in the course? Secondly do you guys have maths exams like back in school? Like how do you get examined on your maths knowledge?

hey, hope this helps, (im still in yr 12 so i will be using 3 unit maths to try and solve it, don't know if you count air resistance in your course though).
The equations you will need are vertical displacement= -half x g x time squared + V x time x sin(30) = 4 (minimum vertical...
It said something about deferring first year maths and physics (if you do it in first year), is that worth it? Like does that mean you just skip the maths and physics because i assume they teach it for a reason?
Yeah i think there are more than 6 per year however they may be in groups of 6.
Secondly what is a thesis!?
Also i heard there is a lot of report writing in engineering, is that true?
Also, in engineering do you get maths exams like at school? like how are assesements carried out or what...
i'm not guessing every petroleum engineer would be out of a job in 50 years, just saying all that green energy stuff will eventually comprise a lot of our energy resources, so lets say half lose their job by 2050 :D (jks hopefully)
Also what does fifo mean (im new btw) ? I always read it but...
I was interested in the mining course but I would rather not live in some remote mine in the middle of the NT. Does anyone know to what degree graduates move in order to get jobs for mining in australia? Or is there some officework available etc?
Petroleum and chemical seem really interesting...
