Haha I got my ee2 in what feels ages in Aug, it was fine except I feel sorry for whoever has to read it.
And my first four exams were okay overall, feel I could have done a little better in belonging and maths. My next three exams are the dreading ones.

haha nope UMAT doesn't really test intelligence, its a mixture of aptitude, quick thinking and a little bit of luck

Yeah true i guess haha. Section 1 is something you can improve though with practice
medentry can certainly help but it really depends on the student. If you lack confidence for the UMAT and are willing to pay quite high prices in terms of money then you should probs try medentry
um i dunno.....its hard to score tbh, if i had to i would say 7? Really depends
Yeah i was the same, section 3 was probs my weakest most of the time although funnily enough in the actual UMAT i did quite well in it and section 2 which is usually my strongest was my weakest

With friends sometimes the competition strains things, which is why I made that point. Also, whilst you may have a talent for school, try not to define yourself by it. Dont feel the compulsion to prove yourself to others or to the world because it can be a dangerous spiral, especially if you fail to live up to the expectations (I'm not saying you will or anything). I know this sounds ridiculous, but a lot of people struggle with the mental/emotional side of the HSC - and this is something which I really try to help people out with on BoS.
So just take care of yourself in that respect because it is something people often neglect.
Why so desperate for dux - just focus on yourself and aim to be the best you can be I reckon. Dont lose friends over competition.
Well it depends really - what do you like better out of physics and history? What are you better at?
Scaling wise it is decent - in the 80's and below it scales really well but it slows down quite a bit in the 90's. I didnt do extension history, but from what I have heard the workload isnt too bad - just the major work is a bit of a headache.
