It's a pretty alright deal. It sort of works out to be around 90k per year for 4 (or was it 5) years straight after you graduate. No jobs get those sort of figures. Since you get the money in advance, you could even invest and make money in the 4 years you study.

Maybe. But it's still an issue. We're told to focus on the substance of the answers which is a fair call. But you've got to at least say it properly and not have tutors like me guessing what you really meant. I don't penalise them so I guess the local students are disadvantaged in some way.

Their communication is alright. But I've marked a few international students' assignments and sometimes I just want to fail them for their incoherence... what they write, taken literally, is the wrong answer. I sort of give them sympathy marks because I guess that wasn't what they meant...
