  • Ah, I see.

That's good to see effort is rewarded. And they have ads between deliveries? Wow... Sad.
    There's an AllTime XI? Where?!

And yeah - well, to be in the Aussie XI you kinda have to be good at wicketkeeping if you are a wicketkeeper =P

Also, is it dying? I thought on paper it looks interesting. Though it is T20 and really in essence it could get to just "Six defending" that is, lots of people on the rope. There's not a lot of room for strategy there unfortunately - but that's why I love games like football where there is strategy and so many different philosophies that can come into play and can be utilised on the field.

And some of the Indian commentary would be good if it had a good Indian accent =P
Ah Shane Warne... classic action, classic bowler. Inspired a generation of cricketers! Same with Gilchrist.

Still, Manou is the Australian 3rd choice wicketkeeper right now apparently. So... who knows. Maybe his glovework saves him! Paine's batsmanship probably got him through the line, along with his age as well.

Also, I didn't watch the IPL nor the auction. I keep tabs on it though - well, the auction that is. Not on the competition unfortunately =(
He must've been pissed! And yes, bent finger.

Also that is true - there's so much more emphasis on a well-rounded player. Still, I agree - Manou isn't that good. I looked at his stats - I think I confused him for someone else.

And ah, well - at least he got 50. Better than anything Michael Clarke did mostly =P
Ah yes, 'The Ball of the Century'. I saw that and I'm like, 'woahlolwtf'! And yes, it's hepatitis or arthritis - but still it looks cool =P

And I remember when Paine was called up to the test squad, I wasn't exactly sure but it seems that all the wicketkeepers we develop now are all wicketkeeper-batsmen! Even that Manou guy who only got one call up I think.
Warne's action is imposing because it's Shane Warne, i.e. "You're going to get out right now" is going to go through your mind. Harbhajan's action is awesome from a neutral view - akin to Billy Bowden's umpiring.

    And Malinga is... lolwtf. True.

And hopefully Tim Paine/Cameron White can bring yay to our T20 team. I'm happy with that combination.
One just has to go to the average teenage girl's Facebook page to find out =P

And yeah, I heard commentators saying he swings it from the hand. Still, it's a nice action. Ones with the best actions include Warne (just walks up to the crease), Harbhajan (dance thing), Hauritz/Beer (that hold the ball with two hands thing), Johnson (leaping almost to the crease) and Malinga (lolwtf sideaction). Others probably but I forgot.

And - we thrashed them 6-1?
    Yes, girls love taking pictures.

On Hilfenhaus', I like his action. It screams accuracy. The way he measures it up, and then delivers the ball.

Hopefully Australia can lift its game in the ODIs.
    I'm a guy, I don't take pictures - I hide from them as best I can =P

    *skip Ashes*

I don't like Tait... I'm not an angry sort of person that fits the fast bowler persona well. =(
Yeah, but no one has a camera at these events =P

And they better develop to an unbeatable team... this Ashes has been embarrassing.

Uncontrollable outswing as in - when I release the ball intending it to go fast - it swerves violently to the left and goes off the pitch... but I like spin! It's cool to do.
No reflexes will stop a ball edged from the bat from hitting you int he face =P

And yeah, maybe next year. Maybe when the newbies in the side are firmly in and more mature and better!

Also, I try pace bowling but I can't get it that fast and I don't have the fitness to do that. I can do like a slow-medium pace though without trouble. But getting express gets me to do some really wierd uncontrollable outswing - besides I like spin bowling better!

    And yes, it is =P
Well, fast bowlers cause injuries to their own team - and probably they'd want that minimised... and yeah, epic fail for Australia today...

I have no idea how it bounced that high, it just did. I assume the sandpaper like surface had something to do with it. Then again the girl I hit was twice the height of the stumps - which may be normal for bounce, I'm not sure.

And when I say mesmerised, I meant distracted for the remaining deliveries of that over. I couldn't get it out of my mind =(

To this day. (I won't comment on the last thing because that's too wierd for you...)
They're bearable because the medium pacers are usually hit by the batsmen! Fast bowlers are too quick for them! =P

And no injuries. This was school sport, not competitive sport... I hit a girl in the head though. I was bowling off-spin and the ball shot up and hit her in the forehead or something... then S. comes into bat and she moves out of the way and for some reason waves her behind at me. I was mesmerised <_<

Also, mmkay. I thought that 'guy' was just a girl who had a sex change though.
I did my wicketkeeping with the medium pace bowlers... those were still scary. But not 'OH FFFFFFFFF'.

And it was school sport when I played - no protection at all: no leg pads, no helmet, no box. =P

Also why should I buy jeans? They don't mesh with my skin tone... and yeah, they'd feel really bad if they lost their so-called 'manhood'.
Yeah, I remember keeping in indoor cricket and I got no helmet. I thought maybe my game was the exception, but no - it's the norm...

And I think as soon as we talk about cricket balls - there's only "hard" and "harder". They still hurt =P

Also, I don't have jeans! And you don't know any... do you? That'd be... sad.
Well, as long as most people have helmets. I remember getting hit in the leg with one - that was very scary. <_<

And yeah, I think I need close scrutiny on what I wear. Besides, in the style of my favourite author Max Barry: regardless, it'll be nice to talk to people who don't have a penis. =P
Maybe when they do that walk before they bowl the delivery (like they always walk a few paces in), we'll strike!

Also, I talked to the UNSW people and they said, "Go for it. You just have to get the numbers to set up a viable competition".

And yay, though she's not S. She's attractive but... not the type that makes me go: "I must marry this woman!" /me shrugs

Who knows. Though it'd be nice to have an attractive girl friend who can help me in the style or image department.
Well, there's a rule that only 4 people can be in each 'half' of the field... <_<

And I'm not sure about the technical aspects of spin - so probably don't talk to me about that =P . And yes, I saw the horrible scoreline...

I chatted to one, who talked to me first. We had a great conversation about university and I think the crowning thing was, "I hope to see you again soon". I felt fulfilled!

So Sydney may have more hot chicks - marginally, but UNSW has more friendly ones.
Well, he'll be sitting up on a platform - so if we whisper it, he may not hear =P

And ah okay, though I'm sure Hauritz can learn to spin the ball more. Though with an off-spinner, it's not much.

And err... I'd say there were some. None of them that struck the, "omg I must marry her" chord, but unfortunately perhaps - a good proportion of the 'hot chicks' were only hot because they were scantily clad. Girls who look good whatever they're clothes were there - there were only a few of them though, these are the genuinely pretty ones - and those, which with a nice personality to match, can be called beautiful.
Or we could go more colourful in our language but we might get disqualified =P

But no, I didn't see his 'wicket' - I heard about it though. His action is alike Hauritz's, though - that's what I noticed. And it can't be that difficult to learn how to spin more.

And, I see. Is there hot chicks?
