  • We'll see. I can see some potential in it: "He chucked a North!" though.

And I was always a fan of Hauritz. Something in his demeanour... and No. 6 problem? How about Australian Captain =P He'd be better than Clarke probably!

And oh okay... is the UNSW campus nice? I haven't actually been there at all. Is it like easy to get around?
True about North. And yeah, Steve Smith doesn't scream test material to me - right now. And yes, he probably does bat better than most top order players - it wouldn't be hard to do =P

Well, we'll see what happens. Hopefully Nathan Hauritz goes back into the side after the Ashes.

And okay then bat and ball out then! Going to UNSW Info Day tomorrow?
True. And yes, some of our first-teamers are crap. Like when they had North in the side for as long as they did... and Steve Smith, seriously?

Hopefully our younger players will stop the so typical batting. Those 280 or so is pretty good.

And chess because I had no idea =P

You suggest something. I'm out of ideas...
True. I thought these new 'backup' bowlers they had were crap... but no. Oh wellz =(

    Hopefully today it'll be better.

And how about we play a game to decide who'll captain it? I was thinking maybe... chess? =P
Or today, with Australia - like Philip Hughes was like 37 off like... 90 or something. Quite odd. /me shrugs

Then Khawaka comes in 17 off 15 or so =P

And yeah, you can't be captain because I'm in Year 12 now and it'd be wierd if a First Year student was telling a Second Year student what to do... so, vice-captain! You can give yourself any name you want though - with some restrictions.

And it's drinks deliverer. Very different thing. =P
LOL, nice. Though I have a bad feeling if I get into a batting partnership, I'd play test style.

Though whacking a few for 4 or 6 is nice.

And thanks sly, as I've said - I need all the luck I can get. And of course we need the vice-captain of this WACA thing!
We'll see. Though apparently in indoor cricket each person essentially has to be an all rounder. Each person must bowl 2 overs and bat in a partnership for 4 overs...

Which is good for me apparently.

We'll see how friendly UNSW is - well, I will - on Wednesday. Hopefully I can make a few friends, and a few girl ones to help me stylistically to be more attractive to S.
LOL, let's see how that'd work out. We could have two WACAs!

    All Asian Final, anyone? =P

We'll see though about Asians having an interest. I'll go ask around I suppose. Make a few friends, I figure I'm sociable enough once the air of mystery is broken from the other person.
I know, ah well. Brain snap - like Mike Hussey's slog shot on 195 or Shane Warne's infamous one on 99.

And mmkay, but I still have my doubts on whether we'd instigate a law suit =P
    True about Clarke.

How about... Philip Hughes? He has to concentrate on not getting out to bad deliveries, i.e. today. I was VERY annoyed when he got out.

And I've never met a West Australian, so /me shrugs
Mmkay, I'll see what I can do.

And I don't like Clarke - so anyone but him =P

Though all the bowling positions seem to change every test so none of them can be captain... maybe... Shane Watson? Though he's like 30 or something. /me shrugs

And if the WACA people will spend precious money in persecuting a cricket team serving the sporting needs of a disadvantaged minority group... they are very sad. =P
Well, I'll get in contact with Arc - their student association and suggest it. We must have one!

And yeah, Khawaja seems to be a player who likes to score quickly - but can put the brakes on if needed. And I think that - out of the current starting eleven - Mike Hussey would be a good choice due to his experience, or even Brad Haddin as he seems to be in there for the long haul. Anyone but Michael Clarke, almost =P. And yeah, hopefully that happens and our tail will wag.

And so that's where it came from, the AAA, that is. And I'm liking that WACA suggestion! That gets me thinking.
Also slyhunter, I have something very important to announce... UNSW does not have a social indoor cricket competition. I looked at the webpage again and they don't have one!

No one has one! So... we'll have to get one set up.

I misread because UNSW Cricket Club has teams "for the social player" and not "a social club competition"... my bad. So it's just futsal for now.
Damn, I saw how he dealt with his first three deliveries and I was like, "Wow. This guy is good." Ah well... we'll see. I can't believe they picked Michael Clarke as the captain. Very sad. Oh well...

And it's like 4/140 or something so maybe we'll be all out for... 225 or something. Though I think Brad Haddin is next down the order and if they play well... we'll win! =D

AAA? How about we call it: "The Awesome ACT", or in full: "The Awesome Asian Cricket Team". We could also call ourselves TACT - the Asian Cricket Team, PACT - Professional Asian Cricket Team, FACT - Fantastic Asian Cricket Team or even WACT - Wonderful Asian Cricket Team (complete with winning team song, 'You just got WACT') =P
Yes, I am watching the Test Match - I am just watching to see how Khwaja goes. We'll find out!

And yes, test mode is awesome! It's something about building a score and finally getting a score of 300 off 100 overs or so =P

So you study hard! And then we'll make the AAOA cricket team, or something like that...
And they debate on the wierdest of things... and they have wierd customs like dragging the Speaker to the chair or something.

And yes, we agree on distraction! Though I like playing test mode - that is, leave the wides, no balls and the like and block mostly anything =P

Yay UNSW buddies! You just get that ATAR you need, ya hear? And as someone who did MX1 and MX2 - seriously, you MUST revise them often. I didn't and I almost dropped into the 'ewww' regions!
I like debates - they just foster logic and nice thinking, and you know how I feel about that =P

And it'd be awesome if we had a cheering squad... OF HOT CHICKS! =D . Use the bat money on that. We'll use their attraction to distract the other team =P

And still sly, same position - so perhaps same results? It's indoor cricket - 6s shouldn't be that hard to find.

And because of that info - I am now 98% set on UNSW! yee
Ah well. Politics is fun, I tihnk. AAOA is of course pronounced 'aaaaah-oh-aah'.

And I think I'd prefer a plastic bat for practice - I'll loan one from my fellow players when it comes to game time =P

Test matches would be awesome in indoor cricket. And so you're like... Adam Gilchrist, right? Wasn't he an opening batsman? I forgot =(

Though your bowling I believe is the same as Michael Clarke. Still, I'll be an interesting spinner for Australia - commentators will be like, "You know, he has a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Maths... amazing how he's playing cricket for Australia now!" It'd be cool, I suppose.
