Well I suppose that means that you've got a great chance of getting a band 6! You may be disappointed with a band 5 but it wouldn't be shameful, I'll be proud of you whatever your ATAR :p.

Can you explain your situation? Are you doing 3U content in Year 10 but not actually starting the course until next year and you want to know if you should do 4U too? You sound as if you have enough motivation (and probably capability) to do 4U.

Can I just ask why you don't offer tutoring for students who are not 'high-achieving', after all aren't they who tutoring is designed for (I get that you teach at high level...)?

I think that matter was formed from 'energy' after the big bang, and this 'energy' is actually 'radiation'. That is my understanding of it anyway... could be wrong.

Hey guys, does anyone actually know what discovery is? Take the lion, the witch and the wardrobe for an example. Is the discovery in that book the discovery of Narnia - the place, or a discovery of a new perspective of the world or is it a discovery of identity, belonging :tongue:, etc?

If you are planning on doing 3U as an accelerant, I wouldn't recommend getting 4U tuition to help with 3U. Just spend all the time you would have spent on that tuition doing 3U past papers instead. Exposing yourself to more and more questions will extend your understand of the concepts further...

Hey, so I've got exams coming up and I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about essays that include more than one text: 1. Is there a big difference between writing an AOS essay with one related text and the Module A comparative essay? Does the AOS essay involve 'less of a comparison'...

I think that you mainly need to discuss the themes that reflect the attitudes of society at the time, and briefly mention somehow that these attitudes are still relevant today (assuming that you are agreeing with the statement). For example, with The Catcher in the Rye, I would write about how...
