Yeah I think it sounds about right. People say that 4U maths prepares you more for uni physics than HSC physics does.
Well waves are ok. I like electric circuits. Moving about is just maths. And Space is interesting.
History: If you are certain that you will be getting a MUCH better teacher for ancient than modern then I would personally choose ancient. Good teachers go a long way, that is assuming that you find the course somewhat interesting.

I learnt these things in year 10 and I found that it made covering them in 3U way easier. Circle geo questions use all of the yr10 rules + a few more but there are also proof questions instead of just 'find' questions. Polynomials in 3U is almost exactly the same as what we covered in yr10. No...
