Generally, most books have a U or horseshoe shape, but in the prac test our teacher made as use a nail. So here is my question-- does the shape of the soft iron core affect the generation of a voltage in the secondary coil, and the threading of magnetic flux through the coil??

the australia act was in the hsc course, and so was the adversarial system, but yes, it was from prelim aswell... as a whole, the questions were pretty easy

Test was pretty straightforward.... I think everyone in my class chose part A for the essay questions LOL

Just make sure you know your course, and answer the question. Do not include irrelevant information (you would be surprised about how many students do). Try balance out your work, like for every three points, use a media report/case. If you can't remember any, just make them up. it's really easy...

From memory, f'(x) was a sin curve, so t=0 was the first x intercept, you had to find the next one. Initially I could only find t=0, but worked it out alright

I thought it was a fair test. Although I did have a problem with parts of TPS, but I got warned about talking about it on here.. So guys we aren't allowed to discuss specific questions.

In the prelim course I did not memorise any essays, and my marks were around 17/20 on average.... Memorising essays has pushed my ranking up slightly, now averaging 18-19 /20 per essay.... A tip would be to write a long-ish essay, and that way you can exclude points that are irrelevant to the...
