For Economics Either Dixon or Riley are the best, Riley is more indepth, a bit tedious at times which means if you work hard you'll understand everything better whilst Dixon is clear concise and easier to understand. Both great books! Would not recommend EXCEL.

It's at UNSW, my friends told me that the English Belonging one was worth attending (they went to it at USyd the week before) and I live really close to UNSW so isn't much of a trek.

I think I'll have to disagree with just that last bit of your reply. As much as I agree making English compulsory is unfair to those who excel at Maths and not English, the reason it's done is because no matter how intelligent you may be you'll struggle to succeed in your career within Australia...

Yeah the kids that do 4U at our school are in the same case as you guys. They are being rushed by their teachers and are struggling to stay up to date with work. Kinda sucks to be them.

Past Papers (Y) End of the day if the textbook is able to explain the concepts to you properly and you need questions just grind past papers.

Nearly all uni students go at around 20 dollars an hour, 25 at max. People that charge more than that are usually experienced tutors/teachers and not just an undergrad student.
