    Procrastinatin' subs

to continue rumbleroar's ~legacy~, thought I'd revise this thread. basically, state your subject that you'd use for avoiding your pet peeve. for me, it's maths to avoid fking english - such a BS course lol

    To memorise essays or not?

not sure if this would work for Mod B though lol esp when it comes to hamlet, or speeches, or poetry probs better to memorise paragraphs in this case otherwise, go ahead an rote essays lol

    Quotes and techniques method?

I do use the quotes and techniques method and it has worked for me so far (always got in the 13/15, 18/20 range for my essays). There's no other way to doing this than writing practice essays under timed conditions (unfortunately). As such, send your practice essays to your teacher/tutor. But...

    Failed half yearlies

true, but consider the HSC lol the essay questions will be a lot more challenging (I am speaking from a general perspective) in comparison to your internals
  14. teridax

Does Biology get better in year 12?

tbh, it's up to you how you study... but word of advice: i wouldn't go by that strategy; it's highly unconventional and probably wouldn't go well in the hsc exam
  16. teridax

    can i get 98+?????

I call bullshit, if they're studying 12 hours each day, they're doing it wrong.
  17. teridax

    Is 95 still possible?

you essentially have to attain solid internals and smash the externals otherwise, it's a bit unlikely you'll get 95
  18. teridax

How to prepare for a ion analysis practical?

are you allowed to bring the diagram in LOL woah, so lucky, apparently at my school my friends who do chem have to rote learn the ions tests... but just know your chemistry skills such as reliability and validity and accuracy and how to write up a method, drawing a diagram; etc.
  19. teridax

    Past papers or HSC questions?

do past papers save the past HSC Q's for the actual HSC
