How to create a flexible essay? or prepare for one?

lol... there are literally links on the net - you just not trying properly we're not gonna spoon feed you the info straightaway, so you'd have to find it yourself

Half Yearlies and haven't started studying....

You need to specify what exactly will be tested for English, otherwise we can't really help you. Nevertheless, I would memorise quotes, and have a general idea of an explanation for the quote + familiarising yourself with some past questions + very rough plans for them. In terms of maths, I hope...

    2015ers Chit-Chat Thread

tbh, normally what happens (for english in particular) in the exam is that people mutter swear words under their breath when they receive the essay question

How to create a flexible essay? or prepare for one?

it's gonna result in a really loooooong essay when it's more crucial to use the relevant material for the essay question. what would a 2000 word essay using the all key words of the syllabus achieve if some bits aren't linked backed to the question and i'll retract my statement: OP, create like...

How to create a flexible essay? or prepare for one?

If you're pressed for time, just know quotes and potential thesis statements that can be adapted to the question. It's probably too late to memorise an essay (or even create thematic paragraphs). and lol, there's heaps of links to discovery for the tempest on the internet haha

How To Be Not Completely Screwed for my Chem Test Tomorrow??

best to stick to what your school desires for your internals after trials, listen to the hsc experts, i.e. ex-students lol

How To Be Not Completely Screwed for my Chem Test Tomorrow??

Use the hsc verbs as scaffolds in response to the questions in the exam. If it's a discuss question, you outline the advantages and disadvantages. If it's assess, you give a judgement and then talk about the benefits and detriments. If you wanna be succinct, perhaps do dot points. Making tables...

Does Biology get better in year 12?

but that's the problem, why waste time on memorising 6000 to 7000 words of specific creatives when you can just prepare a 1000 word one that's mouldable. more scripts on a particular section =/= full preparation you missed the point of what creatives are used for
  19. teridax

Does Biology get better in year 12?

No, you don't. If that's the case, then you clearly don't know how to go about creatives. Just prepare a creative that is adaptable to the stimulus; just include multiple aspects of discovery (whether that'd be explicitly or implicitly depending on the question). Even the b6'ers or state...

    Does anyone like English?

It can be fun if you have a good teacher. But BOSTES with their rationale goes about it the wrong way. 3 essays in 2 hours? Yeah right. Creative writing? Please, you can't just write on the spot, English is a memorising and speed writing test. But what I despise is the BS and volatile marking...
