Chemical engineering will give you solid job prospects (from what I've heard), but the actual subject doesn't have a lot in common with chemistry. It's more to do with thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and other physical processes involved in stuff like fractionating oil, distillation processes...

How many people actually achieve 100 in these courses? I'm just trying to gauge the marks relative to usyd. I think maybe one or two people get 100 in the exam after scaling, but all up I doubt anyone manages. Same goes for math as far as I'm aware.
