Can't say I've used it but Vodafone now have a 5GB per month plan for $39 which is the cheapest price I've been able to find. Only downer is that its only available on a 24 month contract.

The laptop will receive the internet signal and then if you follow the instructions in the link in my previous it will create a wireless signal which the Wii should be able to connect to.

I think the only way you're going to get it to work is if your computer supports internet sharing over wifi. I doubt the Wii will be able to connect using the modem. If you have a Mac, it's easy to turn on internet sharing...go into system prefs > sharing > then make sure internet sharing is...

There's a summary of how much data costs at each residence here. Most places are 2 cents per MB, Johns is 2.5 and a few are 7 cents. Unilodge says TBA...I'm hoping its 2!

Yeah, that's what I hear. I mean somewhere within walking distance would be ideal, but this place is at least a proper house with lots of room and I wouldn't be locked into a 52 week contract like with UniLodge. Just means I'll have to drive it or maybe get the bus.

A friend of a friend is getting a house in Chifley and is looking for roommates and it would work out to about $200 a week (thats including utilities and internet). Is Chifley to far out? Same here, even though my 1st pref was B&G. Its showing UniLodge at the top for me at the moment which I really would prefer not to get into - it starts to get really expensive once you add everything up. I just want to know!!!! :(
