    The McDonald's Thread

McDonalds is an 'equal employment opportunities' workplace, so I'm sure they won't hold anything against you based on your race/ethnicity. I don't know how the recruitment process goes, but I know stores turn down potential workers for different reasons - I tried to apply for my current store...

    The McDonald's Thread

Yes, of course, but the problem with moving into said industry is that there are hardly any job opportunities, especially for high school students. Most people working in Sales are at least going to University.

    closest uv had to celebzz?

She was awesome, wasn't she? Really wanted her to sing "Burn" but I got to hear my favorite songs, so no complaining. Only wished she could've stayed longer.

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

I'm so disappointed Hewitt lost that QF. It was SO CLOSE. Kind of like the time Jelena Dokic lost 4-6 6-4 4-6 in her QF at the AO. :(

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

They were cheering after the point. Yes, you can expect the Aussie Open to favor Aussie players too, but at least we don't diss other fanatics or try to stop the crowd from really getting into the action. Hope Hewitt continues his run tonight and hopefully he can make the Semis. :)

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

During the 4th Round, when Hewitt vs Stepanek. The Aussie fanatics were making a lot of noise and a steward had to come out and told them to be quiet. Then, next thing you know, all the Poms were going nuts for every point Andy Murray won in his 4th round match. Clearly that's hypocritical...

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

What's pathethic is that in Murray's 4th round the crowd was crazy and yet we had stewards stopping Aussie fanatics from cheering loudly. Pathetic Wimbledon organisers!

Hewitt to start his match momentarily. I'm hoping the Federer vs Soderling match finishes up quickly.

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

Ana Ivanovic has retired from her 4th Round match against Venus Williams - URRGH! I'm so upset that it could have been Sam Stosur on court today. It wasn't meant to be. :(

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

Tell me about it! I hate Stepanek. After he won the Sydney Medibank over Verdasco he did not even congratulate or acknowledge Verdasco for doing so well, which of course, Verdasco did for him. Very unsportsmanlike. No tennis today? Ah, thank god, I thought broadcasters weren't showing it...

Wimbledon Update - Women's Singles R3 NO! Sam Stosur lost the first set 5-7!!! She's down 3 breaks points in the 2nd set, first game!!

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

I feel for Jelena. I imagine it's never easy to keep the ball rolling when you're on a comeback trail. She hasn't been performing at her best level, but I was so proud of her at the French Open when she was on the brink of beating Elena Dementieva. Here's hoping she can keep going and get...

    Wimbledon 2009 !!!

The Women's Draw doesn't look good. :( Apparently the Williams sisters are on opposite sides of the Draw AGAIN, and Dokic and Stosur are competing in the 2nd round against one antoher. I really like these girls and hoped they'd go far at Wimbledon, especially since I'm a big Jelena fan, but I...

    Male Winter Fashion

I'm a big fan of trench coats. I need to get myself one this winter. Really love the classic beige color. Never goes out of fashion. I have to say I'm not really into leather for most pieces, apart from leather jackets. Anyone knows any stores that stocks XS in Men's, apart from American...

    The McDonald's Thread

Looking back at the first page, it's incredible how just 5 years ago, the differences in the wages then and now is huge.

And someone walk me through Close shifts? I've only done a few close shifts, and I don't remember all the steps. Also, I'd like to know how you dress all the muffins (for breakfast) - again, something I'm not very familiar with.

    Cycling on the Road

If you were a parent, would you honestly send your 12-13 year old onto the road knowing they're in danger, yet technically, it's against the law not to.

Anyone studying Robert Gray please help!

Sorry, LATE REPLY but I have a Comparative Study Essay on Chinua Ahebe's Things Fall Apart and 3 of Robert Gray's poems, due in on Friday and I was wondering if I'm allowed to use a poem of Robert Gray that we haven't studied in class yet in my essay... Any thoughts? I'm going to discuss this...

    The McDonald's Thread

HAHAHAHA, I contacted McDonalds Head Office in Thornleigh and got them to investigate Liverpool F/C and I just got paid back-pay for Australia Day on Tuesday. It just shows sometimes you have to put matters into your own hands and stand up for yourself because those lazy managers are just going...
