I think by that the OP meant that the school says that they recommend you do 10 units, not 11 or 12 etc.

I guess it also depends on what school you're going to.. I mean A's at one school may be eaiser to achieve where the level of academic abilities isn't as high. Do you have any other co-curricular activities? But hey, you stil got a year till applications are due.. if they are even available now.
