Same here. Except mine's Private Catholic.. Teachers all suck except for English. Most of them are hopeless at teaching; some I questoin their qualifications. It's all like a lottery when you get your teachers for the new year. The only benefit is that its an almost perfect environment...

Matrix is hopeless for English, similar story with Discovery. Maybe try Pre-Uni, but after my experiences with coaching colleges, I tried a private tutor (who's a HSC marker), and I'm seeing a significant improvement in my English skills.

Counts.. depending on the school... At mine it counts a lot (like 40%) towards the report, and a little bit less for the actual SC grade (like A, B etc.)

I'm kind of feeling the same thing. I know that I'm nowhere near as well prepared as I should be, but for some weird reason, this time around I'm not motivated enough. I'm trying to study, but end up doing other work.

I'm stuck on a coordinate Geometry Question. Your help would be appreciated. Given 2 points A(-3,1), B(2,3). The line segment cuts AB cuts y-axis at P, find the ratio AP:PB. Hence find the coordinates of P. If you could show me the working out it would help me a lot. Thank in advance
