some kind of ratings system for the material that people have submitted - bad medicine if it is crap and ppl use it anyway; also the bestest notes would get the most attention. and maybe a clearer way of sorting it? eg by modules?

uh yes (im almost sure...) but with dice, why bother when its easier to do diagrams? :p if you want to do well in your final exams, you have to be prepard to be ruthless, and exploit everyone and everything to the utmost. this does not include exploiting telegraph poles or small furry animals...

i dont know, but i doubt very much they would do that. section 2 is already a creative task in paper 1. even BoS arent that cruel.

theres an ok revision booklet on text types here . just tells you what the features of the different types are. and there'll be a change creative task, as well as one in the second paper (probably) i am not going to ponder what they will be, it will just depress me.

if you successfully educated the majority of males to a university level, who would be left to do the physical jobs that need doing, and cant just be mechanised? i just cant see someone doing a 4 yr course and then going back to being a bricklayer. there have never been that many female...

the standards packs are far from complete. if it isnt on that CD, there is no sample for you to look at. it is supposed to give you an idea of the quality of work involved in getting to each band. there are a couple of essays/creative tasks at boredofstudies if thats any consolation.

if that turns out to be the case i am going to have words with my teacher. she actually recommended it as a good idea. :mad:

an inordinate amount of the physics course is historical / factual written stuff, and the actual bits where you have to calculate things would constitute perhaps a third of the course. this might be good for you... but its silly. im good at talking BS in physics, but i would have preferred it to...
