    Band 6 for Standard

I'm doing Standard English and I also think it is unfair how they seem to cap the marks they give to us for assessment tasks. For example in the first HSC AOS task at my school, the top mark in Standard was 45/60 whereas in Advanced this mark would have been thoroughly substandard as the top...

Class of o5, how did u go in ur 1st assessment?

I did quite poorly in my first HSC assessment task and I was really disappointed since I did so well throughout the preliminary course. I hope I can pick up my form again for the next task so I don't screw up my HSC.

    Best Economics Textbook

My Economics class uses the Tim Riley books for the HSC course as well as for the Preliminary course and we've never had a problem with them. I can't exactly make a comparison as we've never been offered an alternative, but my Economics teacher has personally met Tim Riley and he is happy...

    selling child on ebay

They had on a TEN News report that similar auctions were being made with babies from the USA. This is one case though where we can't say "only in America", heh. It's sad, but very true.

Does Gen Maths Scale U Down

My brother did all the "easy" subjects for his HSC including General Maths, but because he did quite well in it (mark of 85) he got a reasonably high UAI. He is now at University studying his first preference course of Psychology, so if you do well in any course it will pay off.

    selling child on ebay

You've really got to question the intellgence and mental stability of someone who would even contemplate doing something like this, let alone someone who did it. I'm glad e-bay showed some common sense by taking it off auction.

Bruce Dawe Poetry - Please help

That's alright about the party, Danoz, don't worry about it :P I just finished doing all the homework on the Bruce Dawe texts and ended up writing 3,500 words or 9 pages of information on it, hahaha! Maybe I overdid it a little bit?

Bruce Dawe Poetry - Please help

Up The Wall is about the stresses of motherhood and the irony of how the men of the house do nothing to help. Weapons Training is about the advice given from an officer to new military recruits and the stark reality of what soldiers must face in wartime. Bedroom Conversations is about a...

Does Gen Maths Scale U Down

My General Maths teacher (who also teaches Maths Extension 1 and Extension 2) says that Mathematics students are at more of a disadvantage than General students if they perform badly, because they get compared to the extension students, whereas the General course is standalone and doesn't get...

    Port Macquarie Schoolies

I never said Port Macquarie wasn't a nice place, I just said for my preferred choice of entertainment/fun, which is doing anything exhilerating or exciting, Port Macquarie is not really for me. Port has a demographic of a heavy number of senior citizens, therefore the place has that aura...

    Port Macquarie Schoolies

Port Macquarie First of all, I was born in Port Macquarie and have lived here for all 16 years of my life. Yes, I know what you're thinking, get a life. Well, it's not by choice, let me reassure you that. I'm the partying type person who loves to go out and actually do stuff, so Port Macquarie...
