Since it worked previously with your old computer, i'd say its your modem. Try puting in your old or different modem and see if you still have problems or before doing that, you could try updating your modem drivers if you havent already done so.

Haven't used that for a while, does it support menus in DVD's? Last time i checked, it had problems with them. I use XINE though, its not bad.

Well Firebird has google search built in + you can add your own (ie dictionary.com, sharereactor, cracks search engine...:p), popup blocker, Tabbed browsing, heaps of extention adons + ...... :D

So you want to backup EVERYTHING in your current h/drive, format, then recover EVERYTHING? If so then formating will fix nothing. Your still backing up your old problems and recovering them in the new formated h/drive (ie spywares, virus, stuffed registry etc....).
