I think they were referring to changes to the 2010 HSC course. This does not specifically rule out the possibility of changing it after that.

To do well in these competitions you cannot really rely on school textbooks. These competitions are testing your ability to think and think creatively to write or to solve. Admittedly you can, for maths, do activities from the AMT (Australian Mathematics Trust) and do creative activities.

For me, i kind of just use them so much that i remember them. Sometimes its kind of like a song, but without a beat ;P Other times, giving the letters a meaning (what ever its called), you know, ASTC (except i remember that by A Silly Trigonometric Concept). I dont really know how it works...
