True, as it's more conceptual as opposed to concrete. But I'm on 99 internally for a few humanities so hoping my school's marking was in alignment with HSC marking.

Society & Culture. Also Modern History, or at least top 5 depending how they marked one contentious section (head of history at our school had an opinion in my favour though, thankfully). And a chance of top 10 for Extension History. thanks for your luck. good luck for 2U :)

Hmmm... 1st for two, I think, because it really shows you excelled at two subjects and highlights your strengths, plus it's harder to achieve 1st for 2. Top 10 in state for 5 subjects would be amazing though...Still, I'd prefer 1st for two.

i'm going to uni straight away; don't see the point of a gap year when we've had, effectively, 5 months of holidays anyway.

depends what it is for, doesn't it? what's the likelihood of them calling to notify 1st on a saturday when most people are busy or out - especially in the christmas period? What do they call / have they called for on weekends?

i agree. my school said that 1st in state would most likely be notified by phone on either thursday, friday or monday. tuesday the ranks are released to public. i really don't think they'd call on weekends - just because papers were marked on weekends doesn't mean the BOS will call everyone on...

1st in state calls should begin today i'm nervous... 5 days til rest of state ranks 6 days til results and this time next week we'll all know our UAIs...
