yeh i know about quantum physics (as required by HSC level plus a bit more anyway) but what you just said there was basically: "visible light is produced by gas in cathode rays" correct me if im wrong please

dunno but there are these all-rounders (uno, them "ok at everything, master of nothing" type ppl) at my school whose existence pisses me off cos although they obviously suck and have no talent in anything, their high 80s to low 90s in english (i predict) will fetch them a few tenths of a uai...

The quantisation of light only explains the photoelectric effect. Theres no "threshold frequency" of light for heating things... is there? And so what if light can only be released in quantised amounts... i dont see the connection, and text books do a poor job of explaining "why" - they just say...

Yeah there are a group of people at my school who try harder than necessary in junior years + prelim and always top stuff. Come year 12, everyone tries their best, and things start getting interesting... Well anyway, the way I see it is simply: the tests are getting harder, everyone's getting...

What's more annoying is when you get to a question you can't do, given the school's crap history of making exams with errors, you immediately assume the question is wrong and you make an idiot out of urself by writing some half arsed proof at why the question is wrong. Then when the paper comes...

actually i just found out today they give only just enough papers... nuts. :(
