    Both, depending on the Q. Ie. for Hitler's role in the Nazi state - Debates (Structuralism/Intentionalism) But for other dotpoints - Historians tend to fit in better with a synthesised argument.

    i agree with may-cat. texts are open to interpretation. personally i think it was figurative language and the poem wasn't written from a dog's perspective per se. but that's my opinion & it's no more valid than anyone else's.

    Ha, isn't that amazing. Reynolds didn't even know himself, and then it just added this new personal element to his historical research.     ugh, i hate that feeling where you just KNOW you did badly. but your other subjects will pull you up and as others said, your other two units of english will probably be counted instead. just focus on your other exams now (get into the weimar! woooo)

    English raw mark?

    Band 6 is supposed to be 89+/105 raw (source: advice line & marker at our school) but of course it depends on the cohort & how hard they judge the exam to be. But generally 89+ raw = band6 apparently.

    Jenna - your pip was so interesting to me because i study ipt and have done computing subjects for my entire secondary education. interestingly, my year 12 ipt class is 50-50. But next year's hsc class has 2 females and the rest are males and this is at a huge school...i've always wanted to know...
