Same maths as Engineering.
I dropped 3u maths, and got a shit mark in 2u maths.
It's 90% effort at university level. What you did before means shit all, just put the effort in and you'll get whatever mark you deserve.
Whoops :P
So there are massive ramifications, and I've already written a 12-page letter about it, which I'll never give her until we break up. I am not going to base my judgements on what I have read.
Probably one of the worst things I have ever done, but I'm glad I did it. It is so evil...
I'm sure somebody will care about it.....
I personally don't care, money doesn't make me happy and I'm going to get one of the highest salaries coming out of uni out of all degree's.
Civil Eng III - 24 hours
Work - 10 hours (Kennards hire, saturday work)
Travel time - 10 hours (5 days a week, 2 hour roundtrip)
Reccomended study - 24 hours (6 hours per subject)
Sleeping and other activities - 100 hours
That's one week. Joyus!
Average weighted per credit point. So if all of your subjects are 6cp, it's a straight average.
I know Engineering uses the GWAM to calculate what honours you get after the 4 years, and that's a WAM weighted per year (ie 1st year subjects are worth 1, 4th year worth 4).
In Engineering, 1st year is absolutely child's play. 2nd year get's harder, 3 year even more so, and 4th year eases off (apparently).
All I know is that 3rd year, first semester, Civil Engineering, USYD - hardest 3 months of my life. Stupidly hard.
MATH2061 Vector Calculus And Linear Alegbra 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
50% pass!!!!!!!!!!
BEST MARK EVER!!!! It was my first time around too. I did 2U maths and struggled with that, so this is amazing to me.
Efficiency is all I can say.
Just recently:
Jack Johnson - People Watching People
I love songs that make me have a retarded smile on my face for the duration. This is one of them...
Engineering in Society - 61
Concrete Structures - 28 (stupidly hard)
Fluid and Environmental Engineering - 46
Project Appraisal - 50 (yay first 50)
Hardest semester yet by far, damn 3rd year, not too bad considering....
Best Band: Cog - the talent these boys have is amazing, far beyond any Aussie band I've heard. They work hard, and have got to where they are because of that. Best drummer in Australia too.
Best Singer: Clint Bodge - Regardless of them sucking recently live, their new album is good and Clint...
It's not the best in Sydney, but certainly not the worst. It sounds alright, the lighting is good and it's not overly big. Big top beats it with sound, as does Enmore (and lighting), as does Metro.
Read: It's good enough.
