    How was your school day?

:( Not good. Only got 80% for chem prac exam and 87% for 2u maths. I was hoping for 90's in each, since I thought they were both easy. Dreadful mark for maths... my rival got 100%. For shame. :(

EE2 2007 bitch and procrastination thread

Today I had to face up to my teacher and tell her I'd only written 300 words. She was fairly pissed off, but just gave me a "Go ahead and fail!" stare. *gulp*

    Nervous! What do you do?

Well my personal experience is nervous = slightly sweaty hands. Not good for playing piano... getting stuck to keys and all. I am yet to try a light talcum powder covering. :) Basically, no solution but more performing.

Does MYSPACE serve as a place for individuality or conformity?

Depends on what kind of person they actually are. Some people would just make up anything to get attention, to be popular etc. Others are actually that 'awesome' (or see themselves that way) that they don't feel they need to make up anything. Then there are those who don't feel as though they...

    Revenge Tragedy

For anyone who despises The Revenger's Tragedy : After reading the play (yes, after... no short cuts!) watch the movie Revengers Tragedy (2002) directed by Alex Cox. I found it absolutely hillarious. Although I hated the play before, the movie made me actually enjoy it (even though I've now...

    Question from Jacaranda

Odd question, but anyway... Not same polarity -> A bar magnet's north pole is literally a north magnetic pole (ie what is defined to be a north pole) because it is attracted to the geographical North Pole. However, unlike poles attract, so they must not be the same polarity.

    Motor Effect - Exam Question

The experiment my class did was just dangling a wire (in a circuit) from a retort stand, and moving a magnet around near the bottom to see it move a tiny bit. Simple and boring.

Composer Roll Call! Liven Up This Sub-Forum!

Ahh no, not too late. Just too late to do it nicely - I get to fill out paperwork, yay! Silly teacher was trying to talk me out of doing 2 comps... "It's a lot of work. Blah." Well excuse me for being bad at performances. And I agree, this whole sub-forum needs more activity - how about...

What's the worst trouble you've ever been in at school?

Well I've been a good little girl - the worst trouble I've been in was in primary school: Possessing a miniture tree branch, and apparently holding it in a threatening manner whilst playing stick-cricket with a friend. Running back to class after lunch via the 'back route' instead of waiting to...
