How do you see certain UAI ranks as?

woo commerce/economics ftw lol... but 95.3 is deceptive. you can get in with much less than that if you go well in english advanced and maths.. hscplus program means people with up to 5 points lower can still get in.. and just to let the unsw hopefuls in on something - its not all that...

    Insane work load

well actually i start on 9th march. UNSW seems to have retarded semesters. yes theres two whole subjects called 'quantitative methods' (1A and 1B)... ill do one in each semester this year. but commerce and business are essentially the same, exxcept that at UTS its a little less maths-oriented.

    Insane work load

im sure its very normal for people to find the workload much increased and a bit to get used to.. but your OP made it sound like you were ready to cave in or something. your definition of crashing and burning does not have to be the same as mine. I think those that get into the first week and...

    Insane work load

and it was your decision to do 4 subjects... and I didnt memorise anything either. also, in no way did i say that all people who get high UAIs rote learn. But those who find the workload in uni very heavy often do so because they think they have to commit it all to memory (as in the HSC). Hence...

    Insane work load

dude im working full time and will be doing 3 subjects this semester (technically a full time load). Stop crying. You were obviously one of those people who did well in the HSC because your teacher gave you everything on a platter and you just memorised/rote learnt. A lot of those who did very...

Thank God we are in Australia

Johnny was in at the perfect time and now Labor is the best party.. i think we're lucky. in times like this howard would have said 'no! dont spend the money!', and back when we were growing rudd would have spent our increased govt revenue. right government at the right time.

damn kleybanova was returning everything! i think a few incidents with the umpire/crowd made her a bit edgy but she was great. not sure about that head jerk with every shot.. im glad dokic is through, she played so well and did good to win considering she had like 11 double faults. her...

Also, make sure you answer the question (this sounds obvious but make sure in the first sentence you give a direct answer.) Finally, take note of the key word (eg, in explain you need cause/effect. in evaluate, you must come up with a judhement). And re markers LOVE structure. make it easy to...

hey there nice subjects arent they lol i think its best to take everything in moderation like no extension subjects but they ones you have scale quite well (if you do well in them). So dont stress too much, is my first tip. its best if you dont follow my method of cruising through the HSC...
