in the end it was english that fucked me over. Well, not exactly the exam but more the teachers at my school.. my assessment mark was 83 but i scored a 88 in the actual exam, so i got 86 for it overall.. no doubt my UAI would have been comfortably over 97 had i got the 88 i deserved.

one of the people in my grade did visual arts, english advanced, pe, legal, society and SOR 2 unit. she got band 6s in everything but english and got a UAI of 96.9 just go well in ur subjects and u'll do fine - usually the people that do maths/sciences are smart anyway hence y they do...

i just want to know what i REALLY got - ie so that i could compare it to my internal assessments/trials etc. and i want to 'stick it to the man' (the bos).., hahah school of rock quote there how sad.

i dont think bos really cares tbh wat about the scripts themselves?? i called and asked if i could get mine back today, and the lady gave me a flat 'unfortunately, no.' i thought we could at least get the scripts back as they dont have marks on em?

yeah that asian/international thing does bug me a bit.. ive seen the online handbook and it looks like the bComm core is very mathsy, compared to UTS which has core subjects drawn from a range of areas. I also dont understand where the UNSW 'general education' requirements come in.. anyway...

Well the name says it all... i got the UAI required to get into either of these two courses but i just cant make my mind up where i want to go... Ive heard that the UNSW Aus. School of Business is more prestigious than the Business faculty at UTS, and obviously it has a higher UAI...

Re: Full School Rankings 107th.. not bad, but it was like 84th last yr. plenty of 89s and i mean plenty. one kid got 3 89s... another got 2 of em... we should be ranked plenty higher. there should be a school ranking based on UAI (no. of students over 90, out of total number of students...

Re: UAI Countdown lol sorry but the study of history at uni will have nothing to do with my accounting/eco/finance career.... maybe eco... but not the others.

Re: UAI Countdown yeah true but not too sure if i really need that major (something like history or language studies is useless, but european studies sounds ok...) and do they pay for the exchange? or is the uni fees on HECS, then the other costs yours to bear? but it sounds fun.

lol im working a 10 hour shift tomorrow (8am - 6pm) so thats gonna kill some time... by the time i get home/shower by 7, there will be just 11 hours left !!

Re: UAI Countdown want 95.2 for BComm/Eco at UNSW... but if i was to get over 97 i might consider BComm (International) at UNSW - i need to do a bit more research into that course to see if the extra year is worth it though. if not, 91 for Bachelor of business at UTS

ill join in until im too tired.. i plan on an all nighter but we will see how strong i am lol (im doing it cold turkey, no coffee, V, mother, etc)
