it varies from course to course. yes, generally more distant than schoolteachers... but then again all but one of my lectures contain at most 80 people, the other one being interdisciplinary and having about 150 people in it. most of my lecturers know most peoples' names, but no-one knows everyone.

eh! uts has other buildings! but there is a sort of lack of grass/trees.

and none of the newcastle-sydney trains terminate anywhere but central unless there's some sort of trackwork, in which case you sometimes need to get on a railbus (read: bus disguised as a train) for a while.
