We dont really get that problem, all the speechies that have lectured me still practice. But, it would be better that way and you have current cases studies for discussion.

I still wouldnt be complaining, ill probably only be earning around the 80k mark (once experieced) as a speechie. Edit: And as a lect. i could also maintain a speech job for a couple of days a week.
