by far, the acid definition is the best one to use, that can relate to HSC syllabus. These are skills outcomes not knowledge outcomes. I don't think they will test you asking for examples, rather they may give say, the different theories of acids and ask you to 'analyse' how they changed etc.

well they are very strict: 4 a4 pages with 2.5cm margin each side, double spaced, justified alignment :D i still wrote 2000ish words then trimmed down

yes it does, but you should point out whether or not the hypothesis was correct. eg Conclusion: It was found out that xxx reacted with yyy in the presence of zzz. The hypothesis was correct thats a simple example; but shows what i'm saying

In my opinion, cramming is bad and it is something I try to avoid. That aside, if you don't even bother cramming thats even worse.

dude431: be aware of the phonons, and what they do. however, you don't seem to be too confident about it, so i would recommend you leave it out if possible
