hahaha the person who started this isn't even in year 11 anymore (you might've noticed a name change, for obvious reasons :)) someone's been digging up old threads...

here's something i bet you didn't know: "gilmore girls" was conceived by a collection of american corporations who couldn't find a suitable program inbetween which to screen their ads -- i.e. they needed a show with a target audience that they thought would buy their products to put ad breaks...

i went through a similar phase last year (except mine was sort of finished by this time last year) -- wasn't motivated, stuck for ideas, and my teacher was always trying to get me to rework some of my older stuff, which i wanted to move away from & try something new. just keep doing stuff...

at last count i had about 130 cd's, and i'd estimate around 60% of them are bought. it comes and goes i suppose, i went through a stage where i would buy a cd a week, now i'll just buy them irregularly. some of my freinds have started to develop better tastes in music, so that's a bonus... :D

i havent read any fantasy/sci fi for a while, but it's nice when they come in series. you finish a book, think "oh, that was nice", and then there's 3 or 4 more of the same to follow up :D

hmmm, good point. if it was a guy and a girl, it would have been passed off as another relatively tame video clip. :rolleyes:

that's just silly. it's like saying "either yes or no"... well they're opposites, so of course you have to choose one (or you could be indecisive and say "maybe"... :))

most major corporate identities use new fonts (or modified versions of older ones -- the telstra font is a bastardised version of arial i think :confused: ). go into the library and try to find the unsw style manual. they ought to have one, detailling signage, colour schemes, etc... designers...

that's a stupid school motto. :p
