ooh, newy uni. i nearly went there. but sydney seems pretty good. 'cept for that smell.

i do design (visual communications) at uts, and more than half of the year is girls. probably about 60/40 girls guys, maybe a bit more evened out, i'm not sure. previous years, it used to be more girls... i wouldn'tve thought design was morew a girly subject, but then... :confused:

yeah 6 min is pretty short whern you look at it, but it's pretty hard work. getting actors, costumes, props, music, location scouting, script, cinematography, actually shooting the thing, editing, effects, etc etc etc. good luck... it's good that your art teacher supports your idea...

yep, max 6 minutes, but it can be shorter if you want. i considered making a short film (only a minute or two) last year to go with my other works, but ran out of time. i'd still like to make one at some stage... i dunno the other requirements though, you have to have your student number in...

i fell .05 short of 98, and only got 2 band 6's. from (blurry) memory: art: 97/band 6 maths: 93/band 6 maths ex1: 42/band E3 (ext courses go from E1 to E4) chem: 82/band 5 software: 89/band 5 eng: 87/band 5 so it all depends really. obviously i dodn't do the same subjects as you, but...

i'm considering picking it up next year -- probably studying chile/spain/france. it'd double with what i'm already doing -- design (viscomm). i'm guessing that person is in 2nd year cos there's no int'l studies content in 1st year...
