its not really part of a resume lets look back to the days wen ppl sent letters by mail to apply for jobs. you don't just send them your resume without any ass kissing. You gotta add some bs first before you bring in the main course.

mq uni starts on 1st march 2004. i fink all the unis started on same date last yr. dunno if that date is confirmed or not

cover letter is ur initial piece of paper you submit (with resume after it) to the employer you are seeking employment from. It should basically introduce yourself, give a reason why you want the job and why you should be employed etc. Just like a brief intro. Keep it short.
