The way I see it, only the best get straight into an actuarial degree. Most grads will prolly work in financial firm and work their way up. That's why i don't see how helpful double maths is if you're gonna work for financial firm. On the issue of mq vs actuarial. UNSW has strong marketing...

catch train to strathfield, change to northern line, get off at epping. Walk up stairs at station exit to left. make left turn, walk to big bus stop where every1 will be. Almost all gov buses like 288, 290, 295, 296 will goto mq uno. (10min on bus)
