USYD DFEE Law vs UTS CSP Law >.>

You're going to be working at Mallesons, you've been studying law for years and you don't know the name of the firm? Mallesons Stephen Jaques, not Mallesons Stephes and Jacques.

Yuck, yellow hair and nipple rings. Damn youngsters these days. But wow, that interviewer is incredibly, amazingly patronising. "Are you going to take off your glasses and say sowwy to mummy and daddy?"

What do you call your lecturer/professor?

Lecturers: I usually err on the side of caution and call them 'Professor X' or 'Doctor Y' unless they've said 'Call me Bob' or whatever. Most do say 'Call me Bob', though. Tutors: first name.

    Beating the UAC

Usyd does acceptance online (but not the whole enrolment process). Some people found out they'd got an offer last year by the method you describe - but a few hours before offers were released officially, not days beforehand. It's http://www.enrol.usyd.edu.au, but the server's not available yet.

Only a few days until transfer offers are released, and I'm totally not going to get into law. Is anyone else trying...

History courses, focusing on military history

I know nothing about UNSW history, but I can tell you a bit about Usyd. We don't have any specific major in military history, nor do we have any units (off the top of my head) which specifically focus on armies and soldiers. However, there are a few units about specific wars which would...

    Archaeology

I did first-year archaeology this year. Basically junior archaeology is split into two parts - a generic introduction to the processes and techniques of archaeology and the key issues of the discipline (which this year was ARPH1001) and more specialised units about the archaeology of particular...
