Man, use the force and make things up. The answers to these kind of dot points are often like essays, and as far as I can see, english essay is making things up.

the unit for mass is kg, and the unit for weight is Newton. W = mg, so on earth the weight would be 40 x 9.8 N but the scale automatically convert the reading to kilograms, by dividing the N value by 9.8 so the reading = W / 9.8 = mg/9.8 Now, on the moon, the g value is 1/6th, so...

I think it is also the same with macmillan physics, that the distance is from the centre of the earth. Otherwise, you'd have infinite gravitational potential energy (woot) as you're 0 metres above the earth surface.

So, if i'm rank equal first, i just have to persuade one person to do good. But what if I'm rank 2? or rank 3? or rank 4? If I want a good internal assessment mark, do I have to persuade 1, 2 and 3 person to do good respectively, or do I have to persuade the whole class to do good?

I wholeheartedly agree. CSSA SUCKS That thing is the argument my teacher used against me. Plus, he's been saying "he discussed with other teachers from other schools", plus he's taken all the time taken to mark carefully. obviously make him stupid..

Is that CSSA? don't worry, the highest in my class is only 56%, although some other school have cough*freaks*cough who gets 75%++ anyways just look forward to the HSC and dont be discouraged :)

I just got my ranks for math, and got equal first. Its not a big class, so not that special :D but anyways, does that mean that my internal class marks are not limited? Will the distribution of the internal class mark be tops (as if I'm no.1 alone) or will it be counted as if I'm rank 1.5...
