    Gravitational Constant

Oh and im not quite sure on what much you have to say about the gravitational constant. Maybe, that it is involved in the equations? I have no idea..

    Gravitational Constant

It was something along the line of sqrt(2GM/r), right? (cant recall the formula) Hence, the less mass the planet has, and the bigger the radius of the planet, the less initial velocity it is required to escape the planet (projectile). Im not sure about ignoring air velocity, forgot that part...

So it didn't really matter on my UAI, choosing standard or advanced, and it just depends on my performance? woah, what a relief :D

    Australian Maths Comp

They'll probably give you $30 angus & robertson voucher, if you get the highest standardised score, or was it that its for high distinction? It's rather disappointing really..

    HSC marks, maximum and minimum

Hey laz, i was using your old lazseeker, and it seems that a HSC mark of 87 in standard and 87 in advanced gets scaled to "scaled mark" of 94 and 86 respectively (standard seems to have better scaling). Is that true? If it is, I want to kiss my teacher now.. :D btw it's the old version that...

    cell diagrams: anode and cathode?

From multiple trustworthy sources (joel nothman note and this info page, it says that in cell diagrams, the left part will experience oxidation, while the right part will get reduction. Is that true?

I hope it's the "poor quality" of the candidature, so I won't have to punch my head teacher for not letting me move up.

    very trivial question:

ah, i get it now. thanks :D

    very trivial question:

That makes sense for the changing oxidation state, but how were the electrons lost, and where's the reduction? Anyhow, it seems that I've confirmed that this is indeed not a teacher mistake, and will proceed in life knowing that this is true. thanks anyways :)

    School Litter Policy

about few months ago, anyone who comes to school late has to pick up 20 pieces of rubbish, or something like that, present it to the teacher in duty, and get it signed. Or else, friday detention. There were many rubbish hunters with plastic bags supplied by the school back then :D

    HSC marks, maximum and minimum

How do I know what was the highest mark in specific course last year? I'm just curious what was the highest possible HSC mark to obtain last year for english standard and comparably english advanced. But I only get to know that no-one got band 6 in english standard last year. The BOS site...

    Scaling Question

good thing i got the old copy of lazseeker :) but it's a bit old (1/2 years?). Anyways, 98% goes to 99.8% it seems.. that's 98% HSC mark though

    very trivial question:

that's the problem, i dont know how did they lose the electrons.. I thought you were bored? won't you mind feeling a bit adventurous and try it out? :D
