i dunno bout phan henry did everything xcept 7i for the similar triangle ques, he used cosine rule coz he couldnt see it. But he got answer in end...with like a million pages of working another top guy did everything :mad:

Dood, all u need to do is expand nCr diff or int both sides - look at answer. If its got power of n-1, then diff. If n+1, then int. Once u've done that. Look at anser again let x=sumfin that will give u the answer. If u get sumfin with Sigma, change that into nCr form. Get it now?

Yup u do it the same way as u would do for working out area. Note: You don't work out area, square it and times it by Pi u apply the rule to (y^2), and then u times by Pi.
