any? i tend to get a bit confused when dealing with probability questions. it is due to confusion as to when (n C k) or (n P k) apply. i tend to do it the 'manual' way, thus making errors. can someone point out either when to apply either/both or 'definitions' of permutations and...

yep, if you are in the top 50% in the state it ensure you a mark of 90+. :)

if you do 2u maths, then you will get a mark out of 100 for 2u. (ie 2 units) and your 3u component will be a mark out of 50( ie- 1 unit)

i agree malayz angel, maths involves only practice. knowing a formula is of no use without knowing how to apply it, which you learn through practicing questions.

of course sam davis and excel will rate highly. BUT, the sdd course is such that knowing the texts inside out wont be as helpful as doing A LOT of past papers. that would be my best 'resource' for this subject. and of course fatmuscle's notes:D;)
