helping someone is different to telling him the answer. if he asked YOU at school, would you give him the answer? u cant get ppl just putting up q's DIRECTLY from assignments, without showing anything substancial themselves, not directed at u forsaken. plagrism?? why dont u help him out...

are there any progs out there with which u can write mathematical signs like the squar roots and (x^2)/y. etc. i've used sub/superscript in word and underlined and then tabbed the denominator across, is there a better alternative. EDIT: i want to use that and then copy n paste it into...

thought for 1, AP.AQ = AB^2, take this as, AP/AB = AB/AQ now u can make relationships between those sides for similar triangles. as the ratio of corresponding sides in similar triangles is equal perhaps i am wrong, just a thought :)

hahaha, i had no idea :p textbooks dont make a huge difference. if u work thru the syllabus, each text will give u enuff information. then there is also the net, Bos, etc. so u cant really use the fact that u dont have a good text as an excuse....but u can try

it doesnt matter, if the school scales it or not. its only use is that it gives u an indication of your hsc exam mark, so u can make comparisons n what not. so u only have a problem if certain people get their marks scaled at ur school and not everyone :p ur ranks and differences between...

yep thats it underthesun and deepulse. i never used to think of it as a right angled triangle, i jus applied the sqroot(x^2 + y^2) good to know where formulas come from rather than applying it each time. i never thought of it that way:). i learnt something:D:D

i think u charge $25/hr. am i right? there are teachers who charge at $20-25 so if u would like to get more people to tutor i suggest u drop to like $15/hr. i guarantee u will get more people:)

yes, but if u were given a diagram with axis, and a complex number z, how would u work out |z|. i'm probably not explaining the question properly...its simple really. a diagram i have may show u what i mean, but it would give it away....get ppl thinking
