I think you still need to apply via your school. That happened with some people I know for accounting and languages.

But if someone were to transfer from Usyd arts --> Arts/law, how many law subjects would they be doing per semester to catch up? Originally, I thought it was 2 per semester but since foundations of law is a pre-requisite for everything....

Personsonally, I think you're looking at mid-high 80s so a 90 ATAR is definitely possible. Focus on improving Maths and English before the HSC. :)
