    Units on other campuses

Yes, you need get permission from your course co-ordinator. And even though it says enrolled, you should probably still send your co-ordinator an email stating what's happened. It's unlikely that they will say no anyway.

    200233.1 - Principles of E-Marketing

Its one of the most pointless subjects I have done. I don't know that I've learnt anything, the lecturer at Parra, doesn't know anything you ask him and the stupid admin people havent given him access to webCT (came from UTS) and its week 13 of the semester. To top it off, there was no clear...

    UniBar into Nightclub

I can't see it happening to be honest. They'll need council approval as far as I know due to zoning (could be wrong) and with a lot of retirees and young families in the local community there is likely to be resistance. I myself am opposed to it as a memebr of the community. The area is fairly...

    when do you finish uni?

Hopefully, Spring 2007 will be my last semester. As for after Uni, no idea. Lol. I'll worry about that next year sometime, no point getting too far ahead of yourself anything could happen between now and then.

    question about postgraduate degree stuff

I think you can do a diploma of teching or education or something that lets you be a teacher anyway. Don't quote me on it though. You might even be able to do that through TAFE. As for your actual question I have no idea, give the course enquireies people a call on 1800 897 669, they should be...

introductory economics and accounting info for managers

If it doesn't come naturally to you and they are core units the only thing you can do is keep on top of things and study hard. Intro Eco doesnt have very hard assessments, a multiple choice test and a group assessment based on case studies to which the answers are in the textbook and 50% of the...

Internal Course transfer recinded in 2007

They can and they are. Lol. I don't think that the Parramatta thing applies to the actually guaranteed course transfer scheme. I think it's just people bugging their course coordinators to let them study at Parramatta rather than where they orginally accepted their offer for. Also there is...

    'Not Enabled'

They usually wont open it up unless they have too. They want the other ones to fill up first so they don't have half empty tutes wasting rooms that other classes could be using. Just do what the previous post said and email the coordinator and they'll sort something out with you.

    RET questions

It's a good idea. If your interested in going to UWS and think you might not get the required UAI you should definitely do it. I still I don't know how they can justify the $135 fee for it though...

    parra campus map

Just to extend on what Lara said. At Parra they have this thing where they like to number the doors rather the the room. That's why the room numbers jump around a fair bit.

    Introduction to Information Systems

Yeah, I just found it. Couldn't remember where I'd saved it. It's from spring 2005 though, so a few things might have changed. Here it is...

    Introductory Economics

The assessments are closed book. You only need the main textbook. Last semester it was by Sloman I think, had a yellow and red cover. The other book I got, coz it was in a pack, I didn't use it and it only had old newspaper articles in it. So really no need.

    Introductory Economics

Basic economics, very similar to what you do in HSC economics, some parts ou go further into, others less. Had a mid-semester test which was all multiple choice. Also had a group report based on case studies from the textbook. Final exam was 50% multiple choice and 50% written answers(1-2pgs...

    Introduction to Information Systems

Half theory, half practical. When I did it the praactical side did not relate at all to the theory part. You will only be assessed on the theory side in the final exam, which was all multiple choice. Practical involves formatting and creating word documents and excel spreadsheets, with...

    marketing question re. subjects

Marketing principles, is just that. A basic outline of everything marketing students will learn in their full course, just in very very basic detail. Consumer behaviour, is starting to branch out into more depth, it involves alot of psychology based theories and stuff. Maslow's heirachy of...

DART test, How was it for u?

I passed first time in a manual at Bankstown, in the rain. If you know how to drive you'll be fine. As far as I know padstow is ok. They aren't really hard on you, but if you do something illegal or dangerous they aren't going to let it slide.

    Doing more than 4 subjects?

I think it depends on the co-ordinator for the course more than anything. But you definitely don't only do three the following semester as a policy. I had a friend who failed one unit and is still doing four units this semester. He wasn't allowed to do five though.
