    plank vs einstein

no way. Planck was German. He'd get his Nazi buddies on Einstein faster than you can say GESTAPO! they could instead have a battle of the brains, seeing who can use pure brain power to telekinetically lift objects... in that case my money is on the magic monkey man.

    A few questions...

    1. Is the answer D? 2. Yes and yes. Resistance is the same thing. Current is vice versa. let a b and c be the voltages, resistances and current in each case. Resistance and p.d.: Series: Total= a + b + c Parrallel: 1/total = 1/a + 1/b + 1/c Current: Series: 1/total = 1/a + 1/b +...

    Einstein and plank's different view?

Well i like everyone in history to be kind humanitarians so i just want to outline how cool Planck is, and he wasn't some cold stereotypic Nazi scientist. He defended the Jewish community and secretly met Hitler a few times to persuade him, whereas Einstein chose more public and...

    question

Yes. but just keep in mind that inducted current is different from an applied voltage.

What's the selection criteria? do they look at your skill or personality or passion or something. what about UAI? Well, I havn't really considered doing art in uni.. not my thing, but if i fail in everything else, then I dunno.. as long as i go to Sydney uni or fine arts... Are all the...

Hertz calculating velocity of radio waves

Although Planck had introduced the idea of quantised packets of energy in Black Body radiation, he had none-the-less assumed light to be a wave. Einstein's studies on the photoelectric effect led to the proposal that light is a packet of particles called photons. By observing the energy and...

    Bored: Ironic useless fact.

Here's ironic and useless physics fact #1 It is an interesting historical point that Sir Joseph John Thomson was awarded the 1906 Nobel Prize in Physics for proving that the electron is a particle, and his son, Sir George Paget Thomson was awarded the 1937 Nobel Prize for Physics for showing...

    Generator stuff

induction and motor are different things. Evidently, induced back e.m.f in motors opposes the voltage applied, whereas in generators, there is no applied voltage so to speak.. so they are different.. although i wouldn't say reverse.

    Just a couple of questions........

Whoa what the hell?? they continually break and reform? I thought they were in a constant superfluid state directly due to the cold temperature... not because of "random lattice vibrations"

    Mathematical model of hydrogen spectrum

Nice answer, for that I would give you 10 marks. You see, this is the secret people... it's not about answering the question, because HSC physics questions never actaully make sense ever. It's about talking about as much as you can without getting too off track.
