Hi guys, i need some help with estimating my UAI. I Goto De La Salle Revesby Heights, my ranking are:
Maths 2 Unit: 2/23
Maths Extension 1: 3/8
Advanced English: 12/32
Chemistry: 1/11
Physics: 4/21
IPT: 4/19
Studies or Religion: 47/58
I plan to get Band 5's in Maths (2unit), Physics...
unlike East Hills Boys, the girls school its an alright school
ovbiously i hvnt beent here, but my sister just went through and did her HSC, and she never had any real trouble there
i think ive given up hope for a 90+ UAI becuase of these holidays
i'm ranked in the upper echolons of most of my classes, but ive become arrogant over the holidays *probably becuase im not first in chem*, and havn't studied much since the exams
now i feel like crap cuz ive avoided study for...

first day back i plan to talk to the year or-ordinator (i get along with her) and ask who i should be talking to and getting involved
ill also talk to my RE teacher so she understands the situation

nah not really
at the time i thought they were worth it, but what they taught didn't really stick (well for me anyway)
they give you a piles of booklets which are alright, but the same, if not better could be found here
btw i went to TSFX, im not sure about the others
i was thinking of just ignoring the work, but we've been threatened with Afternoon detentions for purposely doing this (i.e. bringing down the rest of the cohort)

uve got ur exam to worry about, strssin over getting caught cheating while ur on a toilet break isn't going to help u get marks (or ur sanity).
i saw this same question in the jacaranda textbook.. and my physics teacher couldn't explain it,
i forgot how i work it out but the answer is correct

you would then need to subtract the radius of the earth to find the altitude above the earths surface
my answer is 6.373 x 10^7 m above the earths surface... is this value anywhere near the correct answer (im prone to calculating errors)
