i seriously dont like the title of the module "in the wild"
So WTF is the "wild".
According to longman dictionary, Wild: living or growing in natural conditions and have natural qualities.
But humanity is natural! the quest for science and a better life by social engineering is NATURAL...
Damn~~~Did ur sister school got scaled up because of that "emotional" trauma inflicted by the death of a student?
If thats the case, I wish someone in my school can die (jst joke)
LOL~~~I also rang up the advise line the other day~~~The guy picked up the phone reassured me the Yeats question wont be bizzare and weird as it usually gets because they dont want people to write to the newspaper complaining about the queerness of the paper.
hopefully they will cross out...
I heard ppl say if i dont write 1000 words i cant get even band 5 for adv eng~~~
I mean, I've got lots of good content to put down in my essay, i just cant put them down~~~that is pretty sad
Re: The Poem Was About A Dog?
I am damn sure its about a human lol~~~
if it is not about a human, then how can the "persona" get on board an aeroplane at the end. (I dont think many airline services would allow a non-human on their flight.)
I was taken to the hospital for a surgery when my school had the CSSA trial. My friend broke his leg just before the school trial and another guy broke his arm.
BTW, I think the worst thing of all is that your neighbor is renovating his house when you need to study.
my prepared one could fit the memoir. But since I panic too much and couldnt think in normal human logic, I acrossed out the whole thing and restarted.
so I ended up getting some bizarre little story~~~
I was thinking, if we are asked to write a memoir, then it can't be some bizarre...
90%~~~
Are you trying to suggest that your school is one of the best in the state? so 90% of students get 90+ UAI?
My school ranked 90 something in the whole state last, we only got 17 or so 90+ (which is about 13% of students)
Capitalism did come before the enlightenment. In fact capitalism existed ever since human opened the first market for trade. However it did not mature, or did not become the dominate societal force until the industrial revolution took place.
By my opinion, ironically the man with the greatest insight into capitalism is a commie (Karl Marx -- Das Kapital)
But Marx's hostility towards capitalism is too radical. Capitalism is something that meets the demand of human society and the way of production.
Karl Marx has said, socialism will eventually replace capitalism. I do not know if it is true, but far as I can see, all the global turmoil and social problems are forcing us to head towards a socialist world. The precondition for a workable socialist state, however, is advanced capitalism...
Communism would only work if humanity is perfect, yet humanity is not, therefore Communism does not work.
For example, if everyone only gets paid according to their need, then why would anyone choose to do the harder work? There has to be some punishment and reward for laziness and hard-working.
