if you rank 1st for everything 99+ is possible! it just depends alot on your performance in externals.
but if you're thinking negatively before you even start years 11 and 12, you're definitely screwed.
i don't really mind MC in any other subjects like Science and Maths, because of the objective nature of these subjects one answer is always right, no questions.
but as i said before for english, the MC just aggravates me. english will be alot more enjoyable next year though!
multiple choice is bullshit especially in english, i'm so happy i wont have anything to do with it next year.
there are always the 2 answers which are sooo close, it pisses me off
a general rule that our teacher told us was that find the first whole number and count on how many sig. figures the question specifies, i think that works most of the time
so for 20.1234145 to 8 sig figures would be20.123415
i had originally thought it was going to affect me and i was pretty sad cause I hate multiple choice and i dont want an even more 'dumbed down' syllabus.
but then i read that its for the 2011 exams it made me pretty happy :D
http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/exam-proposals/mathematics.pdf
im pretty sure year 10 won't be affected by the changes to circle geo and stuff aswell, its this years Yr9 that will be
its says on the link that new syllabuses will be in for the 2011 HSC exams not 2010.
nope in the 2010 HSC exams the Syllabus will be same aswell as the exam structure (no MC etc.), but there may be 10 mins reading time added.
so this years Yr10 will go by the current maths syllabi till they finish year 12
sin(180+x)
does the 180 + x show that the ray must lie in the 3rd quadrants where only tan is positive therefore making sin negative?
dunno, i'm quite confused about this topic myself
just a quick question, in years 11 and 12 in eng advanced and EE1 do you only have to do creative writing/essay writing. or are there other types of writing involved? if so what types?
thanks.
